| 1. In Martial arts circles, Tai Chi is
known as an internal martial art. Tai Chi promotes internal strength
physically, mentally, and emotionally.
2. What benefits can Tai Chi offer?
Tai Chi offers five health benefits:
- the nervous system is regulated
- circulatory system is promoted
- internal organs are massaged
- skeleton structure is strengthened
- production of hormones is balanced
Characteristics of Tai Chi include:
- Circular, relaxed, calm and continuous with intent and energy.
- Movements are light, flexible, circular, and lively.
- Yin and Yang change continuously.

| 3. What is Yin and Yang?
The Chinese concept of universal forces. All things are an
eternally flowing interaction of two opposites. The ideal is healthy
balance in all things.

| 4. Who can participate in Tai Chi?
Tai Chi is suitable for everyone, whether you are strong or weak,
young or old, male or female. The movements are calm, relaxed, and
circular.
