Comments from two
students
Recently I got a note from a friend I used to work with, telling me that she had moved from her house to an apartment because she "can't shovel snow, can't garden and can't walk steps. Boy did that make me stop and think - I don't want to end up like that!
Then I remembered - TAI CHI. I am more limber and agile now than when I was younger because of it. I'll be doing Tai-Chi as long as I can so I can shovel snow, I can garden and I can walk steps.

I dislike exercise with a passion, but with the gentle movements of Tai Chi, I do not realize that I am exercising. My mind and muscles relax and my life energy becomes balanced due to the all purpose therapy of Tai-Chi. It just makes me feel good.

MAKING MISTAKES
IN PRACTICE
Personal
tai chi practice is very important. Many times a new student fears
making mistakes during practice. This may slow one's ability to
learn and grow. We encourage students to practice even if they feel
it is not correct. When one returns to class, the movements can be
improved. We use mistakes as a tool for learning.
